Greatbow
This oversized bow lends great power to its ammunition and requires great power from its wielder.
Agility 2: This weapon’s range increases to 10, and the base damage increases to 1d10.
Agility 3: This weapon’s critical damage increases to 2d10.
Agility 4: This weapon’s range increases to 15, and when it inflicts a wound, the target is knocked back one space.
Agility 5: This weapon can inflict a critical hit on a natural roll of 8 or higher.

Longbow
Empires have been built by the longbow. It wins wars with its superior range and simple crafting techniques from numerous materials, but it requires a modicum of strength to pull its full weight.
Agility 2: This weapon’s range increases to 10.
Agility 3: This weapon’s range increases to 15 and attacks with it gain +1 accuracy.
Agility 4: This weapon’s range increases to 20 and the critical damage increases to 3d8.
Agility 5: This weapon’s range increases to 25 and it can inflict a critical hit on a natural roll of 7 or higher.

Recurve
Unfriendly to beginners, this bow can deliver extremely accurate shots with less required strength in the hands of a skilled archer. 
Agility 2: Attacks with this weapon gain +1 Accuracy.
Agility 3: This weapon’s range increases to 10 and attacks with it gain +1 Accuracy.
Agility 4: Attacks with this weapon gain +2 Accuracy.
Agility 5: When an attack with this weapon is dodged, roll Accuracy again and take the new result.

Shortbow
A short bow for taking down close, small targets, this bow is deadly accurate and has impressive speed.
Agility 2: Attacks with this weapon have +1 Accuracy.
Agility 3: Attacks with this weapon cost 1 Stamina.
Agility 4: This weapon’s critical damage increases to 3d4.
Agility 5: Once per round, you can make a basic attack with this weapon at no Stamina cost.

 


Weapon-Specific Talents

The following abilities and talents can be acquired for one ability point if you meet the requirements.

Greatbow – Hindering Hail
Requires Agility 2 and weapon training with greatbows
Talent
When you inflict a wound with the greatbow, the target gains a Slow counter.

Greatbow – Bully
Requires Agility 4 and weapon training with greatbows
Talent
When you knock a target back with your greatbow, you can knock it back up to an additional 3 spaces.

 

Longbow – Sniper
Requires Agility 2 and weapon training with longbows
Talent
When you attack a target at 10 spaces away or further with a longbow, add 1d6 to your damage.

Longbow – Death Arc
Requires Agility 5 and weapon training with longbows
Talent
When you attack a target at 10 spaces away or further and critically hit with a longbow, the attack inflicts two additional wounds if it inflicts any wounds.

 

Recurve – Master Accuracy
Requires Agility 2 and weapon training with recurves
Reaction: 1 Stamina (Once per round)
When you attack with your recurve and the attack is dodged, you can use this reaction to negate the target’s dodge.

Recurve – Inevitability
Requires Agility 5 and weapon training with recurves
Talent
When an attack with this weapon is dodged and your reroll causes it to hit, it’s an automatic critical hit.

 

Shortbow – Plinking Counter
Requires Agility 2 and weapon training with shortbows
Reaction: 0 Stamina (Once per round)
When you’re attacked, you can use this reaction to attack the triggering target with your shortbow.

Shortbow – Thousand Pinpricks
Requires Agility 4 and weapon training with shortbows
Talent
You deal 1 additional damage with shortbows for each attack you’ve made with a shortbow during this round.
